This article will walk you through requesting a full cardholder data export from Heartland Portico.

  1. The first thing you need to do to import cardholder data to TriceraSecure from Heartland Portico (or any other system) is to have your destination gateway created. This will require that you have completed your merchant application and have been issued your gateway login.
  2. Next we need to request the data from Heartland. For convenience, we have created a form that will send you the exact attachment they are looking for: 
  3. Once you've submitted the request, you will get an email with instructions on how to complete the transfer request. 
  4. Heartland takes 3-5 business days to complete the request (requires approval).
  5. Once the approval is granted and the request has been fulfilled, you will receive a Secure email to the email address added on the form.
  6. Log into that secure email and add migrations@tricera.io either via forward or adding as a "delegate". If you need help, you can call us at 844-874-2372 or send an email to our Migrations Team for help.
  7. It takes another 3-5 business days to complete the import once we receive the data.
